Plumber

About the role

Nicor is recruiting an experienced plumber for social housing maintenance in Derry/Londonderry. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm (40 hours per week). Overtime and on-call duties are available on a rota basis in line with business needs. A company van and mobile phone are supplied for work use only. Immediate starts available.

What you’ll do

• Carry out reactive plumbing repairs and maintenance across social housing properties
• Diagnose faults and resolve plumbing issues promptly
• Repair and replace pipework, taps, toilets, showers, cylinders and associated fixtures
• Identify and report additional works required
• Complete accurate job reports using handheld devices
• Deliver excellent customer service and comply with health and safety requirements

What we’re looking for

• Relevant trade qualification and CSR card
• Experience in reactive maintenance or property maintenance
• Ability to work independently and manage your workload
• Full UK driving licence
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Social housing experience is desirable
